OK — been on this thing for about five months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so figured I’d say something since a lad on another thread asked me a few days back. Am UK based, mainly do football and horses, small stakes, so take it how you like.
What got me on it was actually embarrassing — I couldn’t ever work out what an ew payout would be with 1/5 odds a place. Basically I’d eyeball it and then be surprised. These days I type the odds in before every slip, even a simple single bet.
Their single bet calculator tool is the one I open most — you drop in stake and odds and it spits out profit and total return straight away, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. It also handles the multiples — doubles and trebles returns, a lucky 15, patents and yankees, and that’s where I always mess it up. If you want a look, it’s here betting returns calculator and it’s free with no account nonsense.
The thing that actually shifted things for me is the geekier tools. They’ve got an odds-to-probability calculator that shows the overround, and there’s the kelly criterion tool — I use half kelly as the full version is far too aggressive. The dutch tool is handy too if I’m spreading across selections.
Couple of gripes. Its interface is a bit basic — no flash, it’s clearly function over form. On mobile it’s fine but the lucky 63 breakdown make you pinch and zoom. Also there’s nothing on the app store, just the site — slight shame but worth saying.
Anyway. Doesn’t cost anything, barely any ads, does what it says. If you even now adds it up in their head, give it a go — saves me plenty of “wait, that’s it?” moments.
